PDC Order of Merit Update after Belgian Darts Open: Luke Littler edges closer to Luke Humphries as Wade, Van den Bergh and Edhouse rise

Luke Littler was the champion at the recent Belgian Darts Open as he claimed another title after winning the UK Open last weekend. He continues to have the World No.1 spot in his sights as he edges close to Luke Humphries.
Humphries is sat on £1,889,750 in comparison to £1,278,500 from Littler who adds £30,000 to his total despite merely defending his title. He won't defend that extra money until 2026 so adds instead of subtracts. With Humphries having to defend most of his total later in the year, it is likely when if not if when Littler takes World No.1.
Jonny Clayton also seems destined to be World No.4. The Ferret moved closer to Rob Cross this weekend as Stephen Bunting also circles. He is less than £10,000 away now and with Cross only in good form intermittently, it could yet provide a good chance to usurp him.
In terms of actual changes, James Wade reaching the semi-finals continued his good form and he has overtaken Nathan Aspinall with the top 10 in his sights. Dimitri van den Bergh wasn't to be on home soil but he moved up one spot to World No.19. Ryan Searle fell.
But they all have Mike de Decker and Martin Schindler in particular on their tail and it could be that by the World Cup, the former is suddenly the Belgian captain. While Ritchie Edhouse is up to World No.27 after the fall of Andrew Gilding and Ryan Joyce.
Also rises further down for Ricky Evans (#43), Wessel Nijman (#50), Ryan Meikle (#61) and Matthew Dennant (#78) also rose in the last week.

- Absolutely disgraceful, really I've said many times that ITV coverage is superior to SKY and SKY know that. Jacqui was absolutely fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Emma from SKY is more interested in what to wear than learning about darts. Chris Mason is absolutely the best and greatest commentator on TV, even better than Alex Jacques on F1 and Alex is absolutely brilliant. It is criminal that Chris and Alan will probably never be on TV again, what an amazing waste of talent. Poor Ned, who is just as excellent and knowledgeable on darts as the Tour de France has lost both gigs this year. The whole ITV team from presentation, commentary, production the whole team will definitely be missed and I have enjoyed every minute of their coverage. Thank you so much. John Part is the ONLY decent and knowledgeable person on SKY. - Gurney is off form and will completely crack and have a meltdown as the crowd will be relentless, although I think Beau will beat him anyway. I also think Fallon will beat the Helium voiced Chisnall. Poor Gemma has a toughie Peter Wright is also completely off the boil but will probably squeeze past Lisa.
