Petersen on maintaining momentum during Covid-19 pandemic: "It's kind of non-existent"

Devon Petersen was recently a guest on PDC Europe's the Not So Late Night Darts Show. The South African ace has struggled with his form in recent months.

He puts that down mainly to the time between tournaments and the long periods without darts currently.

"It's maintaining that match sharpness. Sometimes when you're practicing it becomes like long periods of just constant throwing. You can throw practice routines which still work, it does simulate it but that match sharpness we used to have," said Petersen.

"Playing week after week and travelling to a European Tour and just maintaining that confidence and momentum, it's kind of non-existent."
