Players Championship Order of Merit update: this is the standings after 14/34 tournaments

After the Players Championship dual in Rosmalen, Gerwyn Price has remained the leader on the Players Championship Order of Merit. After fourteen of the 34 floor tournaments, 'The Iceman' leads the rankings with 57,000 pounds.

This gives Price a 9,000-pound lead over number two Cameron Menzies, while Gian van Veen is number three with 46,500 pounds. Josh Rock follows behind in fourth place with 43,500 pounds.

Damon Heta managed to win the thirteenth Players Championship tournament on Monday and has moved up to fifth place, while Chris Dobey, Gary Anderson and Ryan Searle occupy the next three positions. Players Championship 14 was won Tuesday by Jonny Clayton, who is now in ninth position. Martin Schindler completes the top-10.

Michael van Gerwen is still in a disappointing 90th place at 7,000 pounds. 'Mighty Mike' lost in the first round in five of his eight Players Championship appearances, and has a quarterfinal at Players Championship 5 as a paltry highlight.

The Players Championship series continues May 12-13 with Players Championship 15-16 in Hildesheim where important prize money is again at stake. Playing Players Championship tournaments is the only route for players to grant themselves entry to the Players Championship Finals. At the end of the season, the 64 best players get to compete in the final tournament in Minehead.
