The duel between Van Gerwen and Sherrock is a Group G match and is thus scheduled for Saturday night. The same goes for the encounters between Gary Anderson and Dirk van Duijvenbode, Peter Wright vs Stowe Buntz and the defending champion Michael Smith begins his tournament against Nathan Girvan.
The winners of each group will face each other in the second group matches on Sunday, and the same, of course, goes for the two players who lost their first match. Then the final group matches take place on Monday and Tuesday. The top two players from each group will advance to the knockout phase.
