On September 2 and 3, well-known darters over the age of 50 will compete at the
World Seniors Darts Matchplay in York. The field of participants consists of sixteen players.
Familiar names such as
John Henderson,
Robert Thornton,
Leonard Gates,
John Part and 16-time world champion

TV Guide
On Saturday, the afternoon session at 1.pm and the evening session at 7.pm will both be live on TNT Sports 4. On Sunday, the 1.pm afternoon session will be on TNT Sports 1 with the winner being crowned after 7.pm on TNT Sports 3.
Prize money
The World Seniors Darts Tour (WSDT), organizer of the World Seniors Darts Matchplay, announced that the winner of the event will receive £10,000. In addition, the winner will also go home with a trophy. Last year, the cup was won by Robert Thornton, who was too strong for Phil Taylor in the final 12-10.
