The PDC has announced that the bookmaker Paddy Power will be the new sponsor of the World Darts Championship starting this year.
Irish gambling company Paddy Power replaces Cazoo as title sponsor of the PDC World Darts Championship. “Getting stuck into a sponsorship as iconic as the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace is hugely exciting for our brand, and we can’t wait to make our mark…maybe just not directly on the pro players!" said Michelle Spillane on behalf of Paddy Power.

- It seems odd that at the World Championship they have dancing ladies in hot pants and pom poms and yet the walk on ladies who were much more elegantly attired get removed from the scene. I met Daniella at Silverstone when she was a grid girl in the F1 race and was very pleasant indeed.
