Sunday night is the conclusion of the
World Series of Darts Finals 2025. Four darters are still in the race for the title at the major tournament at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam. Sunday during the finals session, the semifinals and final will be played.
Michael van Gerwen will try to take the title in front of his own crowd and win the World Series Finals for the sixth time in his career.
It is the 11th time the final tournament of the World Series circuit has been played. With the exception of 2020, this tournament has been played in the
Dutch capital since 2019. In 2024, it was
Luke Littler who got to hold up the cup in Amsterdam. In the first round, "The Nuke" escaped elimination against Ross Smith (6-5), but then the teen sensation won over Raymond van Barneveld (6-4), Chris Dobey (10-7), Michael van Gerwen (11-4) and Michael Smith (11-4) to take the title.
Follow the 2025 World Series of Darts Finals via our live scores!Littler is one of four players in the last four. The defending champion has already been severely tested this tournament, with the 18-year-old teenage sensation fighting his way past Simon Whitlock 6-4 in the first round before making up a 3-0 deficit against Jonny Clayton (6-4). Ross Smith then played a rock-solid quarterfinal against Littler, but an average of 106.12 proved insufficient for Smith. Littler pitched a 107.31 average himself and prevailed 10-8.
In the semifinals, Littler will face
Gerwyn Price, winner of the World Series of Darts Finals in 2020 and 2022. 'The Iceman' had started his tournament with a 6-1 victory over Danny Lauby, but then had to pull out all the stops to beat Raymond van Barneveld. The Dutchman led 3-1, but eventually saw the win go to Price 6-4. Then the former rugby player also dealt with Chris Dobey (10-8).
For some time Price had a (very) positive record against Littler, as the Welshman won no fewer than six times in a row from 'The Nuke' between June 2024 and March 2025. However, the Englishman again won the last three clashes, and is now 8-7 ahead in the head-to-head. The last showdown was last month at the New Zealand Darts Masters in Auckland. Then Littler won easily 7-2 thanks to a fabulous average of 108.81 with a finishing percentage of 53.85 percent.

Luke Littler goes up for title contender at World Series of Darts Finals
Can Van Gerwen finish it off in front of his own crowd?
On the other side of the bracket, Michael van Gerwen and Josh Rock will battle out who will advance to the final. Should Van Gerwen walk away with the title in Amsterdam, it would be his first major title since his final victory at this tournament in 2023.
The 36-year-old is playing a strong tournament. In a spectacular first round he defeated compatriot Wessel Nijman 6-5, a match in which 'Mighty Mike' posted an average of 104.75. Against Rob Cross, Van Gerwen skimmed along the edge of the abyss, but thanks to a brilliant 111 finish in the leg-decider, the world number three still managed to win 6-5 over Cross. Van Gerwen then played his best match in the quarterfinals against Luke Humphries. The world number one was convincingly brushed aside 10-5. The Dutchman's numbers were impressive, with an average of 106.45, seven 180 scores and a finishing percentage of 41.7 percent.
Van Gerwen, however, must deal with the man who has been in greatest form for weeks. After winning the World Cup of Darts with his Northern Irish compatriot Daryl Gurney, Rock made it to the semifinals at the World Matchplay in July. Then there were also final spots for 'Rocky' at the Flanders Darts Trophy and the Czech Darts Open. This tournament, too, the former junior world champion is still unbeatable. He comfortably beat Krzysztof Ratajski (6-3), Danny Noppert (6-0) and Mike de Decker (10-6) to qualify for the semifinals.
The last meeting between these two men was not that long ago either, as it was earlier this month at the Czech Darts Open. Then Rock won 6-4, while the Northern Irishman had also beaten Van Gerwen 13-11 at the World Matchplay last month. Nevertheless, 'Mighty Mike' is still ahead 7-4 in the overall balance.
