Van Duijvenbode has been the story of the weekend up to this point and the in-form Dutchman has the chance to make it a perfect one after reaching the Last Four.
‘The Titan’ was playing catch up for most of the game going 4-2 down but showed a never give up attitude which stood him in good stead for the rest of the game.
He was soon back on level terms at 4-4 and it was very much game on. Aspinall threatened that though by holding throw to go 5-4 up but a brilliant 171 set up shot followed by double eight saw Van Duijvenbode send it all the way.
His path through was confirmed from there, can the brilliant Dutchman go all the way??
Price on the other hand had a more easier route through to the last four defeating Mensur Suljovic in a 6-2 win.
He was averaging 111 in the early stages as he doubled his lead. Soon he was asserting his authority truly with a 4-1 lead and a break of throw.
Suljovic got back into it but Price was soon one away and he confirmed his spot from there as his great weekend continues.
