Price coasts past out-of-sorts Razma to reach third straight World Grand Prix semi-final

Gerwyn Price will face Nathan Aspinall in the semi-finals of the 2022 World Grand Prix in Leicester after coasting past an out-of-sorts Madars Razma.

Price sealed a 3-0 sets win over the debuting Latvian who averaged 74 in exiting while for 'The Iceman', it was a professional job as he hit a 91 average with two ton-plus checkouts en route.

After a sloppy start, Price hit double three finally to lead. Double 12 saw Price double his lead and head towards the first set.

Razma sealed a first leg on double five to hold at 2-1 down but Price hit a 57 checkout to seal the set. A 180 and double four saw Price begin the second set with a hold before sealing the set on double one.

Razma began the third set with a 52 checkout to hold. Price hit double 10 to level up with a hold. A 107 checkout saw Price go one away from victory which he followed with a 116 checkout.
