Price eager to return and reclaim World Cup of Darts after final defeat: "We will be stronger next year"

Wales failed to win the World Cup of Darts for the second time. In the final, Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton went down 3-1 against the Australian pair, Simon Whitlock and Damon Heta.

“We weren’t at our best in the final but Simon and Damon played fantastic,” said Price post match.

“I said at the beginning of the tournament we’d play Australia in the final, but I predicted that we would win, so I was wrong there!

“We didn’t fire tonight, but we’ll be back and we will be stronger next year.”
