Gerwyn Price was forced to withdraw from the 2021 Premier League Darts this morning after he tested positive for Coronavirus on arrival to the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes.
As procedures state, he has to go home immediately to go into self-isolation with James Wade replacing him.
But did he receive a false positive? 'The Iceman' in an already deleted video on his Instagram showed three rapid flow home tests that he completed at home with all being negative.
“I’ve got no symptoms whatsoever, nothing at all. I feel absolutely normal. I'll be back, stronger than ever," said Price in a similar video.
“I wish everyone in the Premier League all the best.”
