The standings have been updated after the opening night of the 2021 Premier League Darts with a surprise name topping the standings albeit at this early stage.
Nathan Aspinall hit the front with the only win of the opening night against Glen Durrant to sit on two points with also the all important +4 leg difference.
Following ‘The Asp’ are the remaining contingent headed up by Jonny Clayton. A superb 105 average from ‘The Ferret’ wasn’t enough to dispel a flawless doubling display from Peter Wright and the duo shared the points.
As did all other players barring Glen Durrant who sits bottom after losing to Aspinall. Michael Van Gerwen, Gary Anderson, James Wade, Dimitri Van den Bergh, Rob Cross and Jose de Sousa are all on a point after their openers.
This leaves it very much poised at this very early stage with first wins potentially the name of the game on night two.
