Price survives Veenstra scare, Wright eases through with Hempel win

The finals day line-up is confirmed at the Hungarian Darts Trophy in Budapest with Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright and Michael Smith continuing the dominance of the seeded players.

Price came through but had to survive a scare in the process coming from 4-2 down to defeat Richard Veenstra 6-4.

En route, he missed double 12 for a nine-darter and afterwards he said he was glad he didn't hit it due to the abuse he got from sections of the crowd.

While Wright safely progressed with a 6-3 victory by defeating Florian Hempel to on the opposite end delight the crowd and reach the Last 16.

Finally Smith came through a 6-3 victory over John Michael averaging 101 to complete the line-up with a high checkout of 124 with 6/14 on the doubles.
