The seeds continue to win through at the Hungarian Darts Trophy in Budapest with Michael van Gerwen, Jose de Sousa and Damon Heta into the final day but for the latter two, it was a harder task than potentially expected.
Heta was facing off against his World Cup of Darts teammate, Simon Whitlock and 'The Heat' came from 4-1 down to see off 'The Wizard' who he will team with in a few days in Jena 6-4 with a 95.8 average and five 180's.
While De Sousa followed this up also with a comeback win as he saw off Joe Murnan reeling off five legs on the spin to come from 3-1 down and defeat the Bolton ace 6-3 with a high checkout of 121.
Finally 'Mighty Mike' kicked off his hunt for a first title of the season in September with a 6-4 triumph over Daryl Gurney averaging 101.5 with 55% on the doubles defying a good display from 'Superchin' who himself averaged 101.1 in defeat.
