Gerwyn Price will face
Madars Razma shortly in the final of
Players Championship 7 but came through in strange circumstances against Rob Cross in Niedernhausen.
Cross missed 10 match darts after both players hadn't realised they had to play till seven legs at 6-2 as Price staged a miraculous comeback to win 7-6.
He missed a further two in the decider with a wry shake of the head as Price sealed the deal and set up his final clash with Razma.
The Latvian will once again go for his first ProTour title after seeing off Kevin Doets comfortably in a 7-3 victory in what will be his third final.
He saw it off in style as he hit a 160 checkout to claim victory over the Dutchman who was one of the best players overall today but couldn't reach his maiden final.
