The World Matchplay cut off is only two months away with a double dose of Super Series action set to decide the field in full for the showpiece event at the Winter Gardens.
As a result, we take a look at the current Race to the World Matchplay and the provisional field currently set.
As expect in terms of the main Order of Merit, Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright and Michael van Gerwen lead the way at the top. With the final spots currently taken through that route by Krzysztof Ratajski, Daryl Gurney, Joe Cullen and Ian White.
But especially in the case of White, he has multiple players looking to take his spot including 'The Ferret' Jonny Clayton who sits only £1,500 away from him and with ranking money through European Tour events and ProTours coming off, it is only a matter of time before this happens.
Stephen Bunting and Simon Whitlock are the next players along with similar ambitions with both not currently qualified through the ProTour Order of Merit route.
This compared to Clayton who heads the field in this regard ahead of Devon Petersen and Damon Heta. Also qualified currently include the likes of Dirk van Duijvenbode, Ross Smith and Luke Humphries.
With Madars Razma and Ryan Searle currently the final players in. They will have a battle on their hands though with the likes of Darius Labanauskas, Jamie Hughes, Steve Lennon and Martijn Kleermaker either level or close to in terms of prize money.
Two Super Series will decide the first full event with a crowd and it is still very much all to play for.
