Day One of action at PDC UK Q-School is complete and eight players have found their way into the Final Stage.
Haupai Puha was on the verge of winning but couldn't cross the line. 'Hopes' though claimed it in a decider to deny Kevin McDine who like most players in the latter stages have banked a good points tally to go towards the Order of Merit.
Nick Fullwell is also through after seeing off Robert Owen 5-3. While Danny Lauby failed to get through after a supreme performance from Michael Flynn averaging 97.63 in a 5-2 win.
Other victors were Graham Usher, Conor Heneghan, Michael Barnard, Josh Rock who was one of the top performers all day and Robert Rickwood.
They join Mario Vandenbogaerde, Stefan Bellmont, Andreas Harrysson and Damian Mol who qualified from European Q-School. Stage 1B is currently ongoing there in Niedernhausen.
