Nathan Rafferty has claimed a second Development Tour title of the season after seeing off Kevin Doets 6-2 in the final to end the latest weekend in Hildesheim.
Only four events remain in a few weeks time and Rafferty sits second in the Order of Merit behind Josh Rock. It is the second year in a row that 'The Natural' has sealed a double as he joins Rock, Gian van Veen and Lewy Williams in the winners' circle this weekend.
The PDC Development Tour circuit consists of 24 tournaments in 2022. Last year there was a separate tour for British and European players due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year both circuits have been merged again.
Each Development Tour tournament has a prize fund of £10,000. With the prize money a ranking will be made. At the end of the season the numbers one and two will receive an invitation to the PDC World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2023 and 2024.
