Ratajski edges past Kleermaker, Hamilton ends Bunting's European Championship hopes

The action has began in the evening session at the International Darts Open in Riesa with Krzysztof Ratajski and Andy Hamilton through to the final day.

Ratajski began the session by edging past Martijn Kleermaker in a 6-4 win, this avenged last week's defeat to 'The Dutch Giant' who himself has booked his place at the European Championship despite heading out. It was a good display from 'The Polish Eagle' who averaged 99.

Hamilton is also through to the Last 16 after a 6-5 victory over a struggling Stephen Bunting who himself squandered three match darts to win and now 'The Bullet' like Adrian Lewis earlier who also had a positive Coronavirus test and only just returned to action, he will not be at the European Championship.
