Razma dumps out Price, Van Gerwen survives De Decker scare as Players Championship 9 continues

The second round is complete at Players Championship 9 with proceedings heading into the Last 32 with Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Raymond van Barneveld already through to the Last 16.

Van Gerwen came from 4-2 down to see off Mike de Decker 6-5 who couldn't produce when it mattered most to see off the Green Machine who is usually ominous when he has had a scare.

While Anderson edged past Max Hopp to seal his spot with Van Barneveld who as alluded to earlier in the week has cashed in every ProTour so far. He continued that run as well as a good set of form as he saw off Andy Boulton 6-2.

The same can't be said for Gerwyn Price with 'The Iceman' going down to a finalist last time out in Madars Razma who averaged 102 in winning 6-3.

Also wins so far for Andrew Gilding, Jose de Sousa, Danny Noppert, Callan Rydz and Chris Dobey with Glen Durrant in the Last 64 getting back-to-back wins as his confidence grows.
