Next Saturday the Grand Slam of Darts will kick off in Wolverhampton. Gerwyn Price has already managed to win the tournament three times.
Price prevailed in 2018, 2019 and 2021, last year he went down 16-13 in the quarterfinals against Raymond van Barneveld.
Remarkably, Price averaged above 100 in each of his three group stage matches last year, (against Ted Evetts, Raymond van Barneveld and Dave Chisnall). Also in his last 16 tie against Danny Noppert and quarterfinal against Van Barneveld he was above the hundred average.
