Results Players Championship 3, Last 32: Ratajski ends Ashton's run, Murnan dumps out Aspinall

The Last 16 line-up is confirmed at Players Championship 3 and we will have a new champion for this season on the ProTour.

This is due to Nathan Aspinall heading out in the Last 32 being dumped out by Joe Murnan in a 6-4 defeat. It wasn't exceptional from the latter but it will fill him with confidence.

Also out is Lisa Ashton who's exceptional run has come to an early end. She was defeated 6-1 by Krzysztof Ratajski's who's new darts seem to be going well.

Michael van Gerwen nearly headed out surviving multiple match darts against Ryan Joyce in a nervy 6-5 win for Mighty Mike but one that as usual will give the inkling that it is the only time a player will have the opportunity of a shock against him today.

Also through include the likes of Peter Wright, Adrian Lewis, Glen Durrant and Michael Smith with many big names still in the hunt for the third title of the year on the Players Championship circuit.
