Richardson wins 11th event of PDC UK Challenge Tour, twelve contenders battle for top prizes in final tournament

James Richardson has won the eleventh tournament of the PDC UK Challenge Tour. In the final Ruthless proved too strong for Jason Hogg with 5-1.

With this title Richardson still has a chance to win the first spot on the Challenge Tour ranking. Later on the day the final event of the season will be played and twelve players still have a chance to win the top prizes of this circuit.

Jim Williams, Shaun McDonald, Martin Thomas, Darren Beveridge, Adam Smith-Neale, Nathan Rafferty, Reece Robinson, Jamie Clark, Matthew Dennant, Jim McEwan and Gavin Carlin are also within a chance to win the UK Challenge Tour ranking this season.

The Challenge Tour circuit is open to players who have participated in the Q-School, but have not won a Tour Card.

Due to travel restrictions still in place due to the corona pandemic, this year's Challenge Tour has been split into a separate circuit for both British and European players. The winners of both tours will be allowed to participate in the upcoming World Championship and receive a PDC Tour Card for 2022 and 2023.
