"Right time for new beginnings & adventures" - Beau Greaves splits with long-time sponsor

The most prominent figure in modern women's darts, Beau Greaves has been leading the way on the female circuits of the WDF and the PDC for the last few years. Throughout this journey, One80 - a company that specializes in making handmade darts, has been a regular sight on Greaves' darts shirts, although that will seemingly no longer be the case going forward.
"On behalf of Beau, & all at Opus Sports Management, we would like to shout a huge THANK YOU to One80 Darts Europe!" announces a post on Facebook, revealing the end of the partnership between One80 and the current women's world champion. "For multiple years now, Beau has been sponsored & supported by One80 in all things darts, but as they say, all good things must come to an end! Beau feels now is the right time for new beginnings & adventures, and we’re behind her all the way!"
"It has been an incredible journey for Beau under One80, with 3x World championship titles, 2x PDC World Matchplay titles & a list FAR TOO long to write in WDF titles… And we are all very grateful for their continued support, through the good & the bad!" continues the post. "Beau wishes One80 all the best for the future, and thanks them once again for everything they have done to help her on this incredible journey!"
It hasn't taken long for Greaves to find a new shirt sponsor though. 'Beau n Arrow' has already revealed a replacement to One80, with a partnership revealed alongside LP Metal Detecting. "We are pleased to announce that LP Metal Detecting have come on board, and will be a brand new sponsor for Beau until the end of 2026," shares a new update from Greaves' Facebook page, closing with an open invitation to any other sponsors that want to feature on the shirt of the up and coming superstar.

Scrap the Premier League and the World Series bring back the Las Vegas Desert Classic and the US Open and making them ranking. Have a similar model to tennis with the four Majors and Masters events. If the BDO and now the WDF could organise World tournaments it should not be beyond the PDC. - The statement from Hearn that "People will be able to watch what they want to watch, the sports they want to watch, when they want to watch it and for a price they can afford" is bizarre. Sport only works when it is shown live - very few people pull a 'Likely Lads' and try to avoid a result so they can watch highlights later. And if darts disappears off free to air ITV, it certainly won't go to the BBC, who couldn't afford it, even if they were interested. So, that leaves Channel 4 or maybe Channel 5. More likely the ITV package will go to someone like Netflix and the rest stay with Sky. There won't actually be any free to air darts at all.StraightArrowNoBull06-05-2025

- ITV coverage is far superior to SKY It is excellent, always very interesting from an extremely knowledgeable team. I love Chris Mason, Jacqui, Alan and Ned, brilliant presenters and so enjoyable. ITV are also losing their absolutely fantastic Tour de France coverage. They do not get enough credit for the fantastic job they do. What the fudge do BBC do with darts? Under UK law a woman is now defined by biology therefore that makes Van Leuvan a man in the eyes of the law and should not be playing in womens competitions, entering changing rooms, toilets, etc.Mysstree02-05-2025
- I was always a fan of Rocky, another one of my heroes banished never to return....unless he changes his name to Anne. Andy didn't need to fix matches, he is a good player and wealthy. It sounds like too many people were involved in the bets, and it rather suitably circumstantial. Richie Gardiner has heat with Rocky. How can anyone predict where a player will throw a dart, I purposely avoided hitting 180 when I played as the organisation would pay £10 for each 180 hit to a charity I refused to contribute to. Modus is played in Portsmouth anyway. I've met Rocky many times and thank him for the great matches and memories....unless can he play in the WDFrichieburnettrocks01-05-2025
- Surely then as darts is ‘your job’ then do your job and less exhibitions even if they pay more, or retire and do the exhibition circuit. Appreciate that exhibitions are gauranteed income, you get your fee. Still say scrap the Premier League and even out the season, its only eight of the top guys who lose anything money wise and its not like they are struggling for income.Mysstree29-04-2025
