Armageddon is the biggest exhibition in the darts calendar – MDA events bring the biggest and best night of darts to their home county of Leicestershire and since 2012 they have been committed to providing the best quality darts and darting stars for the darts fans of the midlands.
Armageddon 2025 line up has just been revealed and its set to be the biggest Armageddon to date – as they celebrate the classic darting rivalries over time and reunite opponents to once again play each other in front of the crowd.

Phil Taylor vs Raymond Van Barneveld

One of the greatest rivalries in darts history – with two of the greatest players of all time. Barney came along at the perfect time for Taylor, who was dominating the sport and needed an opponent of equal calibre who would push him to his limits and make him realise he could be beaten.
From the Champion of Champions Match on Sky to the UK Open final of 2006 when Barney moved to the PDC.
The highlight of the rivalry is the 2007 World Championship final – that many consider to be the greatest game of all time – with each man at the peak of their game and with a point to prove against their opponent. This was the match that every one wanted to see and end the debate over who was the better player.
It started with classic mind games from The Power coming out in a Dutch themed Orange shirt and ‘mocking’ the Barney Army with his own ‘power army’ – The match was intense with neither player giving an inch to the other – but in the end Barney came out on top to be crowned 2007 World Champion.
MDA and MODUS are giving fans the opportunity to witness this classic rivalry one more time on the main stage – and despite each man moving on in years, they will still feel the old competition and will give an iconic performance for the fans.

Beau Greaves vs Fallon Sherrock

Women’s darts is growing and growing and its popularity owes a debt of gratitude to both Fallon Sherrock and Beau Greaves.
Sherrock made her name by making history – being the first woman to beat a man on in the PDC World Championships, the first woman to score a 9 dart finish on TV and the first woman to win on the stage at the Alexandra Palace, earning her the nickname ‘The Queen of the Palace’ and instant iconic status. Fallon has become an ambassador for female darts and has become responsible for showing young women that darts can be a sport for them.
Beau Greaves is a natural darting talent and her career has seen her regularly meeting Fallon in competitions. Beau and Arrows is currently the back to back Women’s Matchplay champion and Women’s World Champion – surpassing Fallon’s darting silverware. Having beaten Sherrock in the final of the 2024 Matchplay 6 -3.
A darting rivalry that is still ongoing and has many more chapters to be written – Beau and Fallon will take each other on at Armageddon and continue to write the next pages of the history of women’s darts

Luke Humphries vs Luke Littler

Humphries is a generational talent – having won the World Championship, World Cup, Matchplay, Players Championship, Grand Prix and Grand Slam Championship within the space of a year. He is currently the best darts player in the world. But he isn’t responsible for the ‘Luke Littler Effect’
Littler has been a phenomenon – pushing the sport of darts back into the stratosphere and showing a talent and star power not seen since the early days of Phil Taylor.
These two men have met in the World Championship Final and the Premier League Final with Humphries winning the World Championship 7 -4 and Littler winning the Premier League 11 – 7 and know each other’s games inside and out. A joy for darts fans as they offer contrasting styles, with Humphries living up to his ‘Cool Hand’ moniker and playing a slow, methodical game as opposed to ‘The Nuke’ who plays an aggressive darting style.
This is a rivalry that brings the best out of each other – Humphries and Littler are at the top of the darting tree, despite being only 29 and 17 respectively – this is a rivalry that will control darts for the next decade or more and will be available for the darts fans of Leicester to see the best in the world head to head live.
In addition to these iconic rivalries there will be Steve Beaton, Glen Durrant and Peter Manley in attendance in the new Fanzone, the CEDL final and traditional ‘King of Kings’ match where Local darts leagues Bardon Premier League and Ripley Darts pit their best against each other.e
