It is confirmed. In the final of the 2025 Dutch Darts Masters in Den Bosch, Rob Cross will face off against Stephen Bunting for the second World Series of Darts title in 2025, following a 7-3 victory over Gerwyn Price in the semi-finals.
Price, who lost to Bunting in the final of the Bahrain Darts Masters last time out, took the opening leg with a 17-dart hold of throw. The quality from both wasn't brilliant early doors though, and despite getting that early advantage, the Welshman soon found himself trailing as legs of 17, 12 and 16 saw Cross reel off the next three legs without reply.
Cross came incredibly close to making it 4-1 in the next leg too, just missing the bullseye for what would have been a spirit breaking 170. After Voltage missed though, Price returned and kept himself in touch via double 10. Cross had the darts in the last leg before the break, and with an 18-dart hold, the Englishman immediately restored his two leg advantage, securing a 4-2 lead as the players headed off stage.
After the break, Cross continued to lay down his authority, pinning a 121 checkout to break throw again and move 5-2 ahead. Following that with a 12-dart hold, Cross then moved one away from the win. Although Price held throw in the next leg, there was no epic comeback from the Welshman as Cross secured a 7-3 victory shortly after.
As mentioned, in the final Stephen Bunting awaits. After denying Luke Littler in a thrilling last leg decider, The Bullet will be looking for a second successive World Series title.
