Rock leads PDC Development Tour Order of Merit after dream debut in Wigan

Josh Rock leads the PDC Development Tour Order of Merit after the first five tournaments of the season. The Northern Irishman only played three of these five tournaments, which makes his achievement even more impressive during his debut weekend.
Rock skipped the two tournaments on Friday. On Saturday, he immediately reached two finals, with Rock winning of them. The final event of the weekend on Sunday was won by 'Rocky' as well, as he picked up £5000 in two days.
Bradley Brooks (3200), Kevin Doets (2750) and Keane Barry (2600) were the three other tournament winners in Wigan. Nathan Girvan is number five on the ranking after reaching a final and a semi-final on the opening weekend.
The Development Tour is the PDC's youth circuit. This tour is open for players aged 16 to 23. Players who turn 24 during the season are allowed to finish this year.
Each Development Tour tournament has a prize fund of £10,000. With the prize money a ranking will be made. At the end of the season the numbers one and two will receive an invitation to the PDC World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2023 and 2024.
