Rock not at rampant best but through against Labanauskas as Rodriguez and Sedlacek also through at Hungarian Darts Trophy

The first round of the Hungarian Darts Trophy continues in Budapest with Josh Rock, Karel Sedlacek and Rusty-Jake Rodriguez moving through to the second round successfully.

While the latter's older brother has had to withdraw from the tournament due to family problems relating to his daughter's surgery, Rusty-Jake took care of his business seeing off Jeff Smith in a 6-2 win.

He averaged 91 steamrolling the Canadian ace with four 180's and a high checkout of 92 despite missing 13 darts at double throughout the contest.

While Rock coming into this weekend has been in sensational form. Not at his rampant best, he still did what he needed to by defeating Darius Labanauskas 6-4. This was aided by four 180's and a 121 checkout with a 93 average in the end.

Finally after 12 missed match darts, Sedlacek continued his love affair this year with the European Tour by edging past Thibault Tricole in a 6-4 victory.

A return to the European Tour stage for 'The French Touch', a WDF World Finalist this season but is Evil Charlie who got over the line and is into Saturday's action.
