Josh Rock saw off Nathan Aspinall in an impressive TV debut at the European Championship and it was a match that Rock loved to play in and finally get up on the stage and prove that he belongs.
"I love playing on the stage as it is but that one was a special moment as it's my first televised one. It didn't bother me that it was televised as I just treated it like a Euro Tour," said Rock to Online Darts.
"I thoroughly enjoyed it, even standing waiting to get on the stage, I just wanted to get up there and play darts."
Off the oche, Rock admits he's been dealing with some issues regarding management but this is spurring him on and reiterated his World Champion goal.
"Luckily I've got my missus doing all my social media for me. No disrespect to anyone but I just hate all the comments, she looks at it all. You keep doing that and I'll keep doing what I need to do. There's been a lot of problems with management at the moment, but because I know I'm getting out of it, I'm playing my best darts at the minute."
"I know I can be the World Champion but the problem is doing it. I've beaten the best players in the world, so why can I not do it."
