Rock soars past Ratajski as Gilding edges past Campbell at Austrian Darts Open

The second round is underway at the 2023 Austrian Darts Open with Josh Rock and Andrew Gilding into the Last 16 in Graz.

Rock saw off recent ProTour winner and multiple finalist in recent tournaments, Krzysztof Ratajski with relative ease 6-2. It was a below par display from 'The Polish Eagle' and Rock took full advantage with a 100 average.

It was also four straight legs for Rock with Ratajski levelling it up at 2-2 but Rock took every leg from there starting with an 81 checkout for 3-2 followed by a break on double 20 after Ratajski continued to miss on the outer ring.

An 11-darter for Rock set up a hold and he broke to seal it with Ratajski sat on 2/9 on the doubles.

Gilding is also through with the UK Open champion finding his way past Matt Campbell successfully 6-4. He hit a 93 average, two 180's and came from 3-1 and 4-3 down to seal it.
