HETA DIGS DEEP! 🇦🇺 It looked to be going downhill fast for Damon Heta, but the Australian number one wins five straight legs from 4-1 adrift to book his place in the last 16! 🔜 Rob Cross v Maik Kuivenhoven 📺 bit.ly/23EuroTourLive | #ET5
The Last 16 line-up at the Austrian Darts Open has three more players added to it with Mickey Mansell, Damon Heta and Rob Cross through to the final day in Graz.
Mansell produced one of the best displays of the day so far as 'The Clonoe Cyclone' breezed past Dave Chisnall 6-2 with the second seed being sent packing with the former hitting a 100.4 average with 55% on the doubles.
While Heta provided the entertainment both on and off the dart board as 'The Heat' who has made a habit of different walk-ons during the European Tour so far came onto the stage with skis.
As the PDC socials made a pun of, it looked to be going downhill fast as he went 4-1 down but he sealed a 6-4 win in the end to see off Luke Woodhouse with five consecutive legs to win through.
While Cross booked his spot by seeing off Maik Kuivenhoven 6-2. 'Voltage' breezed through with a 95 average and three 180's with Kuivenhoven averaging just 73 in defeat with a high checkout of 115 being his best point of the tie but it was a successful first outing of the weekend for Cross.
