Rowby-John Rodriguez will once again partner Mensur Suljovic at the 2022
World Cup of Darts after reaching the final last year and they will go in with the same mindset as last time around.
It is a tournament which Rodriguez as well loves even more due to his relationship with Suljovic who he sees as not only a best friend but a second father in many ways.
"I don't have expectations because last year we didn't have expectations and we went far. Two weeks ago, there was a tournament in Vienna which Mensur held and I was there and I told him I think this year it's going to be a tough first round," said Rodriguez to Tungsten Tales.
"It's Finland and I'm happy with that draw but I know that the next round will be tough. It's Philippines or Wales but I'm not looking further in the tournament, Mensur and myself know each other. We give our best, we harmonise really good.
"We won the doubles tournament last week together, that was the first tournament I didn't check one leg. He done everything. I know how good he is even though he's not bringing it on the PDC circuit. His health is getting better and so I still have trust in him and still believe in our team."
"The World Cup is all about playing for my nation and with my best friend. Mensur is like a second father to me, it's just fun to play with him."
