Brian Dawson,
Paul Hogan and Colin McGarry secured the final starting spots for the
World Seniors Matchplay last weekend.
This event will be played from 1 to 3 July in Hull. Amongst others Phil Taylor, John Part, Martin Adams and Robert Thornton are among the participants for that tournament.
The final three spots for the World Seniors Matchplay were decided last weekend. Dawson won the qualifying tournament on Saturday by beating the likes of Andy Jenkins, Colin McGarry and Jim McEwan. The qualifying tournament on Sunday was won by Paul Hogan. He beat Martyn Turner in the final.
McGarry became the final qualifier because he was the highest ranked player on the WSDT Order of Merit who had not yet qualified for the World Seniors Matchplay.
