Schedule confirmed for 2022 World Cup of Darts: Wales and Netherlands set to open tournament in Frankfurt

The schedule has been confirmed ahead of 2022 World Cup of Darts which is due to take place between June 16-19 in Frankfurt and with the first round split into two nights, Wales and Netherlands will open proceedings.

Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton return looking to regain the title from two years ago in facing Philippines first up. While Netherlands' new look duo of Danny Noppert and Dirk van Duijvenbode face Brazil. Michael van Gerwen is out due to impending surgery for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

As well host nation aces Gabriel Clemens and Martin Schindler for Germany will face Spain, while former runner-ups Austria and Republic of Ireland will be in action on Thursday.

The first round will conclude on Friday evening with England, Belgium and Australia involved as well as defending champions Scotland.
