Three more Englishmen and a Northern Irishman are in the race for the win at the seventh Players Championship tournament of the year. Ross Smith, Chris Dobey, Luke Woodhouse and Josh Rock secured a spot in the semifinals.
Ross Smith secured a semifinal spot by winning 6-4 in his quarterfinal over Ryan Meikle with an average of 101.54. He will play in the semifinals against Chris Dobey, who swept aside Daryl Gurney 6-4.
Woodhouse made it to the last four after a 6-3 victory over Ian White. White won earlier in the day against Michael van Gerwen in the second round. Josh Rock will be Woodhouse's next opponent after 'Rocky' took the win against Thibault Tricole (6-4).
