Ross Smith dumps out Luke Littler from Players Championship 7 Quarter-Finals

Luke Littler is out of Players Championship 7 after losing out to Ross Smith in Leicester as Ryan Meikle awaits. Smudger defeated Luke Littler in a decisive leg. Littler missed two matchdarts before Smith struck with a 68 finish.

The other quarterfinal at the top of the tournament schedule is between Daryl Gurney and Chris Dobey. Gurney won 6-3 over Ritchie Edhouse, while Dobey beat Kim Huybrechts 6-3.

Josh Rock is the biggest remaining name at the other end of the schedule. He defeated Ryan Searle 6-4 and now faces Thibault Tricole. The Frenchman triumphed 6-5 against Damon Heta. The other quarterfinal is between Luke Woodhouse and Ian White. They won over Karel Sedlacek (6-3) and Brett Claydon (6-3), respectively.
