Friday night at the World Grand Prix means it’s time for Quarter-Final action with four top ties set to take place in Leicester.
It all starts off with Nathan Aspinall facing Martin Lukeman. Both came through gruellers last night with Lukeman seeing off Ross Smith to make his maiden major Quarter-Final. While for Aspinall, he won through albeit controversially with the crowd playing their part against Danny Noppert.
Lukeman is one of two debutants through to this point though with second up being Madars Razma who was utterly superb as he saw off Daryl Gurney 3-1. Another former champion awaits though in Gerwyn Price who will be among three favourites left involved.
The other two play the other ties as Michael van Gerwen faces Chris Dobey who he has an incredible record over; while renewing their rivalry, Peter Wright faces Dimitri van den Bergh after their recent falling out and making up again which is bound to be part of the narrative.
