Chris Dobey was in a clinical mood as he surged past Martijn Kleermaker in a 3-0 sets win to reach the Third Round at the 2022/23 PDC World Darts Championship.
There 'Hollywood' will face his former mentor, Gary Anderson and after reaching the fourth round last year, he will have his sights on doing the same again but is wary of the two-time World Champion.
"It's going to be a great game I hope. I know what he's capable of. He's not finished yet, everyone says he's finished but I know fine well he's been practicing with Ryan Searle back home," he said post match.
"I'm up for that. I'll have a good solid couple of days at home and I'll be prepared right."
"You seen what Gary done against us on the ProTour in the Last 16 or Quarter-Final. Averaged 103 and got my backside handed to us. He can still turn up and deliver 110 averages, he just doesn't do it as consistently as he used to so I'll be prepared right. I know what I've got to do to get into that game and hopefully my practice helps me."
