There will be no double session on Monday for the first time since the opening night with one bumper effort in the evening at the 2021/22 PDC
World Darts Championship.
One that will feature the doyen of Dutch darts,
Raymond van Barneveld returning to the Alexandra Palace for the first time since rescinding his initial retirement two years ago.
Van Barneveld lost to Darin Young on a night which saw him play his initial last game on the big stage as he went out with a whimper.
But now 'Barney' will hope for a triumphant return which will see him first play Lourence Ilagan before a potential tie with Rob Cross before Christmas begins.
While
James Wade will also be in action in the last game of the evening facing Maik Kuivenhoven who dealt with Ky Smith yesterday but knows he will have to up his level to deal with 'The Machine'.
The other ties see Luke Woodhouse face James Wilson and Rusty-Jake Rodriguez, the highly touted Austrian will hope to join his brother in the next round. He faces Kiwi ace 'Big Rig' Ben Robb who makes his return to Ally Pally.
