Fallon Sherrock lost out on her return to the Alexandra Palace as she was knocked out in the first round by Steve Beaton at the PDC
World Darts Championship.
The 27-year-old managed to force a deciding set but lost out to a brilliant display from 'The Bronzed Adonis'.
Despite that though, she admitted the fight will always be there no matter what.
"I think every game I play even if I'm behind, I'll always fight back. I know I can fight back, it's just getting there. It's just getting over that line. Sometimes I don't make it and sometimes I do but I never give up and I will always keep fighting," said Sherrock to PDC.
Dealing with the hype
A lot has been made of Sherrock since that breaking of ground two years ago but for the Milton Keynes ace, it is becoming more normal.
"I think it's becoming more of a normal for me now. It's getting more comfortable. It's not too much of a shock anymore."
Focusing on normal life
Albeit focusing on normal life has been difficult but against Beaton, she was proud of her fightback.
"It's been very hard but I've tried my best, tonight I obviously showed it in patches and I fell short in the final set but I try to put it behind as much as I can."
Discussing more about the heightened media attention on her and potential opportunities for further inclusions in Premier League etc, it is something she is proud of and she wants to take every opportunity.
"I take pride in it because I've never been the type of person people talk about, I've always been the one who goes under the radar. So if people are talking about me, I'm going to be proud of that and any opportunity I get I'm obviously going to take it."
"I definitely think on my day and on my game I can live up to these people and I just want more opportunities and chances to prove myself.
