The Quarter-Finals are here at the 2021
Players Championship Finals with eight players left to battle for the title in Minehead with the business end beginning on Sunday afternoon.
First up Jose de Sousa will take on Brendan Dolan. The former saw off Darius Labanauskas and then William O'Connor, while Dolan dumped out one of the main favourites in Gerwyn Price to make his first TV ranking Quarter-Final in three years.
One of these two or Daryl Gurney and Ryan Searle will make the final who face off in the second Quarter-Final.
Gurney continued his resurgence with a 104.3 average in seeing off James Wade having rode his luck against Michael Smith surviving ten match darts. While Searle also did so coming from 5-1 down to beat Ryan Joyce followed by battling past Rob Cross.
Then the final two Quarter-Finals see three of the main favourites for the title in action with a bumper clash between Peter Wright and Michael van Gerwen who are of course familiar rivals.
Followed by perennial winner this year, Jonny Clayton who takes on Vincent van der Voort who has been excellent this weekend.
