The final day of action is here at the
Belgian Darts Open with only 16 players remaining and a winner set to be crowned this evening.
Alongside the big names, some shock ties have been confirmed due to many of the seeded players falling by the wayside. Case and point was the opening two games of the session as Niels Zonneveld will face Andrew Gilding after Peter Wright and Dimitri van den Bergh were dumped out in a section which could gleam a big chance.
This being due to also the second game as Rusty-Jake Rodriguez will take on Martin Schindler, followed by the main tie to look out for in the session involving Dirk van Duijvenbode after his run to the final last week in Amsterdam facing Jonny Clayton.
Rob Cross after edging past Mike de Decker will next have Gabriel Clemens in his sights with the winner facing the aforementioned Van Duijvenbode-Clayton victor. Ryan Searle faces Jose de Sousa, while continuing their superb
European Tour form, Dave Chisnall will face Nathan Aspinall.
To conclude the session come two more mouth watering ties as Joe Cullen will aim to add to his European Tour title tally continuing with Danny Noppert, while Kim Huybrechts is set to face Adrian Lewis in a match that would not look out of place in the back end of a major a few years ago.
