After another iteration of 'Seedageddon' with most of the top 16 who came into the second round heading out has seen a wide open draw going into the latter stages of the Hungarian Darts Trophy which begins on Sunday afternoon.
Starting off proceedings is Joe Cullen who snapped a poor streak on the European Tour yesterday defeating Martin Lukeman and now he has Jim Williams with a chance as one of the favourites for the title in Budapest.
Williams defeated Peter Wright yesterday in a comeback win where he survived multiple match darts on 'Snakebite's return to action after surgery and will look for a further scalp.
Madars Razma will make his return to action for the first time since Friday after receiving a late bye after winning through his opener with Gerwyn Price withdrawing last minute. He faces Rusty-Jake Rodriguez who thrashed Danny Noppert yesterday.
Josh Rock also impressed once again as he edged past Damon Heta with a 104 average and is in one of the games of the session as he faces one of the remaining favourites for the titles in Dirk van Duijvenbode.
Boris Krcmar was in superb form yesterday as he dumped out Luke Humphries and next up will be Dave Chisnall who he has a great record against. Jeffrey de Zwaan then takes on Jose de Sousa before Michael Smith who will again be one of the remaining favourites takes on William O'Connor.
Nathan Aspinall and Simon Whitlock end the session facing Karel Sedlacek and Ryan Meikle, with the latter in particular looking to end a curse which has seen him lose when he beats Michael van Gerwen against 'The Barber' who will look to confirm his European Championship spot.
