Schedule and preview Sunday evening session 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship including Sherrock and Clayton

The most anticipated session of darts so far in this year's PDC World Darts Championship is here with Fallon Sherrock set to take centre stage once more at Alexandra Palace.

Sherrock won two years ago against Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic before losing to Chris Dobey but will face her biggest test in terms of fan support yet with the highly popular Bronzed Adonis, Steve Beaton set to face off against 'The Queen of the Palace'.

This overshadows the start of Jonny Clayton's campaign with 'The Ferret' set to take on Keane Barry in his opening test.

Clayton has won multiple major titles this year including the Premier League and World Grand Prix and will aim to add the biggest title of all come early January.

Before that, a German will leave the building as Florian Hempel takes on Martin Schindler in a highly anticipated duel between two of the best the country has to offer.

Martijn Kleermaker will finally make his Ally Pally debut without Covid-19 derailing his charge when he faces a familiar face on the stage in the record breaking history making 15-time champion of Greece, John Michael.

Evening Session (1900 GMT)

3x First Round, 1x Second Round

(R1) Martijn Kleermaker v John Michael

(R1) Florian Hempel v Martin Schindler

(R1) Steve Beaton v Fallon Sherrock

(R2) Jonny Clayton v Keane Barry
