The final session is here at the German Darts Open as the latest European Tour tournament comes to a close with a quality Quarter-Final line-up to kick it all off in Jena.
The top tie based on their Last 16 ties is Luke Humphries who stamped his credentials with a 105 average in his victory over Dave Chisnall facing the last European Tour winner in Joe Cullen aiming to go back-to-back.
Even more impressive was Ross Smith who produced a blistering 106 average to down Damon Heta but next up is Peter Wright who has looked solid without being at world beating form so far in this tournament but coming back from surgery, he has played better than his early exit in Budapest.
As ever with the potential to kick into life, it could lead to a first European Tour title of the year for 'Snakebite', or another for Gerwyn Price who is in the opposite half of the draw in another game which could catch light against Jose de Sousa.
Finally it is the tale of the missed doubles as Krzysztof Ratajski and Dimitri van den Bergh survived match darts in both ties in matches dominated by the outer ring, will it be similar or will there be a conclusive winner.
