The first semi-final is confirmed at the German Darts Open and it will see Peter Wright face Joe Cullen in Jena later this evening.
For Cullen, he faced Luke Humphries who of course has been a dominant force this season on the European Tour but will not collect a fifth title this weekend after a dramatic decider.
Humphries missed five match darts over the course of two legs as Cullen made it 5-5 before taking out 67 after Humphries could not take out 98. Now 'The Rockstar' will get a chance for back-to-back titles after winning in Budapest last week.
But next up is Wright who came through in comprehensive fashion against Ross Smith as he looks for a first European Tour of the season as well as his first title since returning from surgery.
He safely won through in comparison to the Cullen win 6-2 with a 100.8 average and three 180's as he continues to improve. A superb semi-final coming up.

Joe Cullen continues his bid for back-to-back European Tour titles with a third deciding-leg win of the weekend! Cullen survives five match darts before seeing off top seed Luke Humphries in a dramatic finale. Up Next 👉 Peter Wright v Ross Smith 📺 bit.ly/PDCTVLive
