The Premier League Darts touched down this week in Glasgow, Scotland, where the third round of play of this prestigious darts competition will be played Thursday night.
Peter Wright will face Michael van Gerwen in front of his own crowd at the OVO Hydro. 'Snakebite' could use the support of his own fans, as he is still not in the best of form, although Wright is slowly picking up. Van Gerwen actually showed good form last week in Berlin by taking the weekly title in the German capital.

In the third match of the evening, Nathan Aspinall crosses swords with reigning world champion Luke Humphries. Next, Gerwyn Price and Luke Littler battle for the final semifinal spot. Later in the evening, the semifinals and final will be played.
Format
The eight participants will play sixteen tournaments. It will be arranged so that a player meets the other participants twice in a quarterfinal. During two weeks of play, in the eighth and sixteenth weeks of play, the draw will be based on the points standings.
Points can be scored with results during the sixteen tournaments. A semifinal earns two points, a second place three points and a tournament win five points and a £10,000 bonus.
