Saturday afternoon sees the Last 16 kick off at the 2024
Masters with four ties and the format extending towards first to 10 and the big seeds coming into the foray to face the first round winners.
Fighting for Quarter-Final spots include two Premier League stars and one in particular that is fighting for form and wins and barring a European Championship title has failed to get it for some time in 'Snakebite'
Peter Wright. He could be in trouble early on as he faces a familiar foe who used to take him on during his PDC infancy on the European Tour in Krzysztof Ratajski and is a well known spoiler.
They face off third in the session and before that is two ties that could realistically go all the way starting with
Dave Chisnall who starred with a near 110 average in taking down Martin Schindler in the best display of the season so far on the PDC Tour and he faces Danny Noppert. The first top 10 player in action.
Rob Cross follows up against
Damon Heta who had his impressive walk-on once more and was impressive on the board too as he defeated Gabriel Clemens 6-2. Cross took down Peter Wright on the opening night of the Premier League then lost to Gerwyn Price so something to build on.
Speaking of Price, he should have been playing to conclude the session (albeit he likely would've played in the evening) but his replacement instead takes his spot as Daryl Gurney will face Joe Cullen who defeated Josh Rock impressively on Friday night. A spot in the final day awaits the winners, but will it be a seed cull or the start of seed dominance heading into Saturday's evening session.
