The winner of the World Cup of Darts will be crowned on Sunday evening but before that, the Quarter-Finals will set up the latter stages in Jena, Germany.
Eight countries remain in the running and it begins with Austria facing off against Northern Ireland.
The team of Mensur Suljovic and Rowby-John Rodriguez dealt with Belgium's highly touted duo on Saturday and will hope for the same against Daryl Gurney and Brendan Dolan who breezed past Portugal.
But for the former in particular, their best display is a Quarter-Final run so they could break new ground with victory this afternoon.
As with the prior round, all matches this afternoon will follow the singles format with a pairs decider if needed.
Top seeds England will take on home heroes Germany in the second match of the afternoon. James Wade and Dave Chisnall eased through their opener yesterday without too much difficulty seeing off Carl Gabriel and Devon Petersen's South Africa side in the process.
While for Germany, it was more of a battle as theye edged Japan 2-1 being taken to a doubles decider by the surprise package and any display like that will see them out of the tournament. But with England themselves showing frailties in the first round, it could yet be any countries to win on the day.
Following that is the matter of the defending champions Wales as they take on Australia. It has not been smooth sailing for the team of Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton as their second round tie evidenced only winning 4-3 in the pairs decider against Lithuania and in facing Simon Whitlock and Damon Heta, they will not make the same mistakes.
After seeing off USA, they will have the scalp of the reigning champions on their mind as they themselves hope to finally win the World Cup of Darts today.
Finally, we will see Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright lock horns depending on the singles line-ups as Scotland face Netherlands.
Scotland avoided an upset against Poland with Wright nearly being defeated by Krzysztof Kciuk and Henderson taking care of business against Krzysztof Ratajski.
While similarly for Netherlands, Dirk van Duijvenbode was nearly taken to a pairs decider by Harith Lim and Van Gerwen breezed past Paul Lim. For many, the winner could come from this tie so it will be an intriguing one to end off.
