Schindler currently finds travelling an extra burden: 'You have to worry about whether the suitcase will arrive'

Martin Schindler will make his debut at this year's World Matchplay. His first match is on Monday against Gerwyn Price.

On his Instagram page, Schindler received some questions, some of which he answered. The Wall' told us that he travelled to Blackpool together with his fellow countryman Gabriel Clemens.

"Because of the lack of staff, flying is an extra burden at the moment. You have to worry if your suitcase will arrive or not. Apart from flight cancellations, that is the biggest worry at the moment'', he says.

Due to this stress with all the travelling, the German was asked by his fans if he ever cancelled tournaments. "Of course it's annoying sometimes because you can't get any rest at home," Schindler admits. "But I've never wanted to cancel a tournament," he adds.

Finally, Schindler was also asked if he is satisfied with his season so far. "Yes, definitely. There have been good results so far. I have qualified for almost all majors. So I am mega happy with 2022.
